Go Go Godzilla…and other Halloween tidbits

From iheart.com

Renown Japanese guitar company ESP has just unveiled one of the most stunning, detailed and pricey guitars in its history.

The Godzilla guitar was designed by musician Takamizawa Toshihiko, who plays in the Japanese folk rock band The Alfee, but it’s a good bet Blue Öyster Cult would also love it.

SLIPKNOT frontman, Corey Taylor, is releasing a new Horror documentary.

The unique collector’s edition of In Search of Darkness will be available for purchase until midnight, October 31, 2019 – at which time “the Corey Taylor Collector’s Edition is removed from sale forever”!  Pre-order here.

(How many 80’s Horror movies/movie franchises/villians are depicted in the poster? Let’s see how many I can name:  The Howling, Michael Myers, Chucky, Puppet Master, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Pumpkinhead, Pet Sematary, Evil Dead, Pinhead, The Fly, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Halloween II: Season of the Witch, Critters, Poltergeist…)

Here’s MY list of the best horror movies of the 80’s.

The Lighthouse is directed by Robert Eggers – who also directed 2015’s EXCELLENT movie The Witch. Being very impressed with Eggers’ last offering, I cannot wait to see this one. (It also stars one of my favorite actors, Willem Dafoe.) I won’t wait for this one to come out on cable…

Ever heard of Damien Hirst? His macabre works of art have inspired such films as The Cell. He’s brilliant, and I absolutely love the boundaries he annihilates. The reaction to his art hits you on a visceral level.

(The above reminds me of the sigil for House Bolton)
