The plucky little black cat that turned the November 4, 2019 game between the Giants and the Cowboys around in the Cowboys’ favor, has captured the hearts of NFL fans. After his appearance (and subsequent furry touchdown), the Cowboys went on to win 37-18.
So far all efforts to humanely capture the feline have been for naught. This guy truly “captured” that game. He made the field his own – no wonder he remains elusive. I have three thoughts:
- Capture the little guy. Get him the required shots and neuter procedure (’cause he is OBVIOUSLY a male tom). Then fly him – First Class, of course – to Texas to become their in-house lucky charm and mascot.
- Cowboys, take advantage of this meme and get your PR crew to work making shirts (cat wrangling?), black cat charms, etc. (I’d buy ’em!)
- How about a naming contest for the Cowboys’ “newest recruit” (Dallas?)
