Virgo Moon powered by Uranus

Today’s New Moon falls in line with the Sun, for they are both in the sign of Virgo (hard-working, critical). Archetypically Virgo is considered to be The Craftsman (As today is Labor Day, this is appropro.) so this New Moon bodes well for the artisan and craftsperson who create intricate, detailed works (such as jewelry or tatting).

We also have a New Moon trine Uranus (The Awakener, rebellion, revolution) which indicates sudden and unpredictable changes will take place. As Uranus rules the forward-thinking sign of Aquarius, our thoughts will turn to making the world a better place. We do that by becoming the best version of ourselves. Intuition and psychic abilities will also be heightened.

Intuition is seeing with the soul.
– Dean Koontz

A long time ago, farmers planted seeds under the darkness of the new moon, giving the sprouts enough time to grow before the Full Moon – which would act like a spotlight for animals looking for something to snack on. Metaphorically, his same process can be applied to planting our “seeds of intention”, giving them time to grow and establish themselves before the next Full Moon.

Focus on regaining power over your life. We are all artisans, crafting the day-to-day intricacies of our lives minute by minute. What special powers do you bring to The Universe and how might you use them to positively transform yourself and others? What seeds of intention will you plant today?

Today’s card is the 10 of Grails (Cups).

A card of emotional well-being and inner bliss. Long-term peace.
Whatever you cultivate within you will radiate outward.

Sudden and rapid change can create fear and anxiety.
If you’re feeling anxious, align yourself with the vibrations of the card.
Reminder: the changes Uranus brings will be forward-moving and positive.
