The King of Cups appeared before on 6.15.2017 – but REVERSED.
Compare the two readings.
Cups in the Tarot deck are the suit representing emotions. The King of Cups speaks of balanced male and feminine energy; he holds all the positive qualities of both. Often he indicates a literal man in your life. Know that you are supported by the universe – in ways seen and unseen. In general, the King of Cups represents kindness and compassion and appears when the need to dissipate the drama is peaking in your daily activities. There are few cards that are more loving than the King of Cups; there is an element of pure and true love in your life no matter what your situation. Nurture yourself and allow others to nurture you. This King bodes well regarding love, and can indicate someone who is very balanced and loving headed your way soon. The King of Cups may point you to a need to be generous no matter how tight your financial situations might be. (No matter how modest your situation is, there is doubtless something that you can and should share with others, even if it’s “only” an object or your time.) This can often “open up” more prosperity in our lives. Give with kindness and compassion, and know that what goes around always comes around; and don’t hesitate to ask for help if you need it. With regard to spirituality, the King of Cups can be somewhat contradictory as he combines the (generally) feminine qualities of compassion, love, and concern with the male energy of action, accomplishment, and discernment. Meditate on these combinations and take action. How can you be compassionately active? How can you be loving and still draw boundaries? Start by drawing boundaries for yourself before you consider creating boundaries for others. “Walking meditations” are good and bring insight when this King appears.
(Known also as the Lord of Waves and Waters, The King of Cups represents fire in the element of water, trying to bring the contrasts in balance. He is aligned with the masculine properties of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces; and represents mastery of emotion and channeling of desires and wishes.)
