Dividing Carnies

You can see the withered piece that didn’t receive enough water in the photo on the left. This is the whole plant (right) after extracting it from the glass container it was living in.

Gently removing the soil around the roots and discarding the pieces that were dead, I carefully separated the remaining pieces into 2 healthy plants:

A handful of spaghnum moss gets rehydrated with distilled water. In the bottom of (new) glass planter I put a layer of rocks, teaspoon of charcoal, then topped that off with the moist spaghnum moss.

Now it’s time to get my hands dirty…
