Inside Northern California’s Music Scene
WHAT: A Perfect Evening of Hard Rock with Some Bay Area Artists
WHEN: Saturday, November 4, 2017
WHERE: The Quarter Note Bar & Grill in Sunnyvale, CA
The scene was The Quarter Note Bar & Grill in Sunnyvale – a great local club offering a wide-range of music genres, libations, food, and a friendly family atmosphere. From the onset, there was a great crowd.
First-up was Seeing Red from San Francisco, CA – a mix of modern/classic rock styles. Their vocalist, Tara Black, had nice tone, range, and clarity. She took command of the stage and had a great rock ‘n roll presence. An enjoyable experience overall and I look forward to seeing them live again.
A huge thank you to the Dave Friday Band. They showed-up to fill-in for a band that was unable to perform that evening. Great energy and stage presence by a group of seasoned, hard rock professionals. Excellent rockin’ set!
SJ Sindicate completely rocks! Fantastic group of local talent and really nice people. I thoroughly enjoyed their performance. One song in particular, In Her Eyes has stuck with me for several days – extremely well-written with great vocals and memorable riffs.
This was my first time seeing Bad Boy Eddy. Absolutely bad-ass rockers! Every song was packed with heavy, groove riffs and powerful dynamics. Their sound was over-the-top, with some really cool harmonies. I enjoyed the current line-up very much and am eager to catch them again on December 9th when they play with Madman’s Lullaby right here at ‘The Note’.
Vicki & Robert at The Quarter Note for their continued support of Bay Area talent.
I sincerely appreciate the opportunities you provide the local artists’ community.
