Daily Tarot::Lord of Skulls (reversed)

NOTE:  Reversed cards interpreted as Upright – with greater emphasis.

The King of Pentacles was last drawn on 6.25.2017

Tarot of Vampyres

When the King of Pentacles appears, He’s urging you not to be a maverick right now.

maverick
n.  an unorthodox or independent-minded person

Get focused, be practical, and act with intent. If in a committed relationship, it may move into a more stable place; however, if it’s not working out the way you thought it would, now’s the time to speak-up – don’t expect your beloved to read your mind. The universal laws of attraction are present in the King of Pentacles. If you’ve been focusing on what’s lacking in your life, rethink the messages you’re sending out. Feed your spirit – your life (as well as your finances) will benefit as a result. The card may portend of something unexpected about to happen:  a dishonesty, open enemy attack, or a difficult situation that will require a bold action on your part.

(Also called the Prince of the Chariot of Earth, the King of Pentacles is aligned with the astrological Earth signs of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. He represents abundant health, prosperity, wealth, and property – as well as earthly passions, wisdom, strength and patience. His Shadow side manifests itself as obstinacy, insensitivity, jealousy, idleness, and exhaustion.)

Daily Tarot::3 of Swords (reversed)

NOTE:  Reversed cards interpreted as Upright – with greater emphasis.

Tarot of Vampyres

The 3 of Swords may appear to be full of dark foreboding, but in reality is forcing you through a much-needed cleansing process. If your current situation is causing you to tie yourself up in knots trying to make things “work”, take a step back from it. Get to the truth of the matter by asking some hard questions. It might indicate a nasty fight or a recent misunderstanding; or your wounds may be ones accumulated over a long period of time. In order to move forward, instead of placing blame, seeking revenge, wallowing in self-pity, or allowing feelings of resentment to fester, focus on positive living. During heart-aching times, make an effort to practice gratitude for the good that is in your life – simultaneous to the challenge.

(The 3 of Swords is also known as the Lord of Sorrow and is aligned with Saturn in Libra. It represents tension, doubt, pain caused by words, unveiled truth, releasing control, and hope. The Shadow side of this card can appear as heartbreak, unhappiness, helplessness, disillusionment, or betrayal.)

Daily Tarot::Death

Death was last drawn on 8.18.2017

Tarot of Vampyres

This card is not only about the “death” of something (perhaps a toxic relationship or destructive behavior), but the rebirth or renewal that occurs thereafter. Whatever you’re experiencing – no matter how painful – it’s important to surrender to it and let things play out. Don’t fight changes. Continue to cultivate a positive outlook in anticipation of the “rebirth” that’s coming your way!

(Known as the Child of the Great Transformers and Lord of the Gate of Death, the Death card represents transformation, spiritual growth, sorcery, and rebirth. Death is ruled by Scorpio and its Shadowy aspects are intoxication, desperation, resistance to change or the inability to accept change, and self-pity.)
