200 % in the last two weeks – The Magician and Knight of Swords

90% of the U.S. Population
have NOT contracted COVID-19.

“New cases have jumped 200% in the last two weeks nationwide.” That’s what was in an article published on July 23, 2021. (A link to the news article appeared on Google’s homepage. Unfortunately, I did not save a copy and a search for it proved fruitless.) That figure seemed outrageous to me so I did some FACT-CHECKING on my own:

  • According to data I have been collecting the number of cases from 7.12.2021 to 7.23.2021 = 427,916.
Divide 427,916 by 11 (number of days between those two dates) = 38,901/day
So we have been averaging 38,901 CASES in the U.S. per day.
  • My data also indicates that as of 1.5.2021 the U.S. had logged 20,817,140 cases.
The number of days between 1.5.2021 and 7.12.2021 = 188
    20,817,140 ÷ 188 = 110,729/day

If we have been averaging 110,729 cases per week (1.5.2010 to 7.12.2021) – at which time it appears the number of cases/day dropped substantially (-64.87 or 0.6487) – where did that article come up with the 200% increase? Since they did not provide any concrete numbers upon which they calculated this obscene percentage, we will never know whose ass they pulled the number out of.

It is very difficult when reading headlines or articles to discern what’s really being said. Sentences can be easily manipulated to appear to be saying one thing, while in actuality the facts may be something else. This is done all the time and not just with figures. One has to “read between the lines” constantly – and not take anything at face value.

Which is why I decided to publish a page on Jinn (covid) stats, complete with tools with which you can check the numbers yourself. Remember: THE MATH NEVER LIES.

Whatever these people have in mind, they are escalating their agenda – which is to get a JAB into every arm. They are probably trying to out-run the truth of their actions – or at least buy them time to prepare another half-truth to feed the masses.

Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center shows not quite 50% of the U.S. population being fully-JABBED – a far cry from their goal. So they need to up the ante. But those of us who are paying attention (and crunching the numbers) will not be fooled.

I won’t promise to update my Jinn Stats on a DAILY basis because I want to live my life. I will not spend the last of my days wringing my hands in fear. I choose to be happy.

The cards will play themselves out. You and I may be the last ones standing with any semblance of health, and we may end-up paying the price for that. So be it. But I say, “FUCK THEM AND FUCK THAT.”

Full Moon spread (7.23.2021)

Just look at the ferocity of these two individuals! They give me goosebumps (in a GOOD way…). The Full Moon is a time to celebrate your progress.

The Magician is a Trump (Major Arcana) card representing life lessons, karmic influences, and Archetypal energies that are affecting you right now; energies that the Universe is throwing at your which cannot be denied or ignored. You must deal with them. Fortunately, The Magician is full of wonderful, life-affirming energy. It’s time to utilize our creative and vital spirit to shape our own destinies; creating desired outcomes through determined and direct action. Time to conjure up our own miracles!

Ah, don’t you just love the Prince of Knives (Knight of Swords)? Free-thinking, far-sighted, inventive, and assertive, he is affirming what The Magician is evoking: Create your own reality! Give form to your voice and personal vision by stepping outside your comfort zone and thinking-outside-the-box. Whatever we think to be true becomes our truth.

Mad as a March Hare

A March Hare Full Moon, that is. Today is also Palm Sunday which is the Sunday before Easter. As a kid, I remember receiving a little cross made from palm leaves during church service.

Today’s Full Moon arrives at 8° Libra and is 2021’s first Supermoon – so named because the moon appears a little brighter and closer to the Earth than normal. We’re also celebrating Spring’s arrival which signals renewal, rebirth, and abundance. Gaia has awakened from her Winter slumber!

Sabian symbol for 8° Libra.

Why does a fire blaze when there is no one at home? For the same reason we leave lights on when we leave the house – it’s a sign of “Welcome” upon returning home; providing comfort and reassurance in times of loneliness, isolation, or separation.

The fire you seek burns brightly within yourself.

With Libra, today’s Full Moon revolves around relationships/partnerships, compromise, justice, and achieving a delicate balance between opposing energies – appropriate given that it opposes the Sun which is in Aries. This combination of Mars (Aries) and Venus (Libra) can make for a harmonious conjoining provided the right balance is achieved between the two. Think yin/yang or masculine/feminine.

Aries is also in Chiron, the Wounded Healer, making this an excellent time to acknowledge and heal any emotional wounds that are preventing you from moving forward. Mars’ warrior spirit will give you the courage to face these obstacles head-on, with Libra reminding you to be kind to yourself. Maintain a sense of balance, harmony, and don’t forget to practice self-care.

According to Dark Star Astrology, this Full Moon’s Tarot card is the 2 of Swords – Lord of the Peace Restored – symbolizing stalemate or impasse, compromise, at a crossroad, weighing options. The 2 of Swords also relates to balance and partnerships.

To be as “mad as a March hare” is an English idiomatic phrase derived from the observed antics, said to occur only in the March breeding season of the European hare, Lepus europaeus. [source]

1.28.2021 ~ Howling at the Moon

The first full moon in January is called a Wolf Moon but I’m renaming this one a Werewolf Moon. This is a powerful Full Moon. Today you have permission to HOWL and embrace your Other.

January 28, 2021’s Full Moon enters the sign of Leo at 9° and the Sun is in Aquarius which indicates the Moon is in detriment to the Sun.

In astrology, a celestial body is said to be in detriment, or exile, when it is positioned in the zodiac sign opposite the sign it rules (over which it has domicile). When a celestial body is in detriment it is said to be not comfortable in that sign and to tend to operate with the least strength.

Like the Werewolf, we have two opposing energies pulling at us and compelling transformation. It’s time to embrace your Shadow Self in order to achieve a balance between the essences of the Visionary (Aquarius) and the Ego (Leo).

The Revolutionary Archetype is linked to Aquarius whose motto is: “I know…therefore I am.” while Leo’s Archetype is The Performer (“I will…therefore I am”).

“The Moon in Leo, or High Priestess in Strength’s clothing is potentially a time of emotional power. Something beautiful that’s usually under-wraps can finally be revealed.”

Full Moons are a time to let go of negative energies by performing banishing rituals. During the January Full Moon, traditional pagans also carry out purification and protection magic, but today I challenge you to create something beautiful and inspiring. Where do your passions lie and how can you take them to the next level of creation? How might you transform your sense of self (Ego) into becoming more of a Visionary? When you combine The Revolutionary with The Performer what do YOU come up with?

An interesting factoid:  All three of these well-known werewolves were played by AQUARIAN actors! Lon Chaney Jr. was born on February 10th with both Oliver Reed and David Naughton born on February 13th.

Tomorrow’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

Tomorrow’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is the last full moon before the Winter Solstice (December 21, 2020 here in the Northern Hemisphere.)

Traditional Pagans refer to this as a Mourning Moon.

The November full moon is also called Reed Moon by the Celts and also marked the start of their new year. Native Americans referred to it as the Beaver Moon because November is the time of year when beavers begin to take shelter in their dens.

The Mourning Moon marks the end (or death) of Autumn and reminds us that the nights are getting longer and colder. For our ancestors it was a reminder of the cycle of death and rebirth.

Wiccan Correspondences:

  • Colors:  Grey, dark blue, deep purple
  • Gemstones:  Lapis lazuli, turquoise, topaz, and apache tears
  • Incense:  Patchouli, jasmine
  • Trees:  Cypress, alder, hazel
  • Deities:  Bastet, Isis, Hecate, Astarte
  • Herbs:  Thistle, betony, verbena, fennel

Full moons are known to bring emotions to a head and with the days getting shorter many of us may feel gloomy, irritable, depressed, or suffer from low energy. Be kind to yourself. Allow whatever emotions you are feeling to wash over you, then let them go. Full moons also shine a light on our inner Shadows and are an excellent time for self-reflection and meditation.

Derived from the Greek noun for “the abandonment”, “the downfall”, or “the darkening of a heavenly body”.

In 2020 we’ve had a total of seven eclipses – a rarity since most years have 4-5. Eclipses are powerful cosmic events signalling big endings and usher in great change. The November 30, 2020 Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs in the sign of Gemini and will affect those born under Sagittarius and Gemini the most; however, all signs will feel its influence. Gemini rules the intellect and communication and governs the 3rd House of communication, transportation, and local community. Gemini energy is changeable, indecisive, sharp-witted, impulsive, and a little unfocused at times. Be flexible. Give yourself – and others – space to “do your own thing”. People may have difficulty communicating clearly. It’s important not to become defensive and go into attack mode. Stop, take a breath, and tell yourself to “chill.” (Or my favorite, “It’s mice nuts.”)

Additionally, although full moons are an excellent time for letting go of negative energies, a full moon eclipse is NOT the best time to perform release rituals. (Save them for the next full moon.) Instead meditate on all you have to be thankful for. Send blessings out to those who have paid you a kindness.

Scary Caturday! (10.31.2020)

By Prince Ramses XII

This special Halloweem editiom is all about black cats, because whem you thimk of Halloweem you picture ravem-furred beasties, right? Right?!? Well, I’m here to tell you there’s more to us tham ridimg om broomsticks or crossimg your path. There’s mo truth to the rumor that we cause bad luck AMD we take meow-velous selfies (Ramses and I are still working on this. He just cannot sit still long enough for me to capture a shot of us together. – M).

But first, let’s hear what SHE has to say about today’s Full “Blue” Moom.

The second Full moon in a calendar month is called a Blue Moon. The Full Moon on October 31, 2020 is also a Hunter’s Moon – which is the first full moon after the Harvest Moon – AND is conjunct Lilith. Damn.

Rare Halloween ‘Blue Moon’ is a spooky treat for us all
“The moon will be full this Halloween night across the entire United States. This is a truly special confluence of spookiness; a Halloween full moon visible for all time zones on Earth hasn’t happened since 1944… [and] It won’t happen again until 2039.”
Full Moon October 31, 2020 – Rebellion
“The October 31 blue moon is extremely close to Uranus [in Taurus], the planet of change and revolution. So unexpected change and uncertainty may cause anxiety, impatience, and an inability to relax…Civil unrest, violence, and rebellion are possible. […] The October 31 full moon in the Sign of Taurus aligns with the brightest star in the Constellation of Aries.”
The Spiritual Meaning of the Halloween Blue Full Moon 2020 is Surprising
“…Samhain was celebrated from Oct. 31 through Nov. 1 as a way of welcoming in the harvest, and the darker half of the year. The Celtics believe it’s the only day in the year where the barriers between the physical world and the spirit world can be dissolved…Full moons are powerful on their own, so when you integrate the rarity of it also being a blue moon, on the eeriest night of the year, it means something.”

Astrologically, Full Moons sit directly opposite the Sun. Today’s Full Moon is in Taurus (the Earth) while the Sun resides in Scorpio (the Underworld). As above, so below. The lunar properties of the moon will shine a light on that which is hidden. It will bring the mysterious out into the open. This is a moon of change and transformation.

Indeed. There is electricity in the air and you can feel the power of its magickal energies. Spooky. The perfect time to cast a spell or two.

Now, let’s get on with this post! (Take it away, Ramses!)

A black cat crossing your path
signifies that the animal is going somewhere.

– Groucho Marx

Black cats were considered good luck on ships – this despite the fact that ALL cats are great hunters and kept rodents at bay during long voyages. The wives of English mariners kept black cats as TALISMANS to ensure their husbands’ safe return. In Britain, Japan, and Ireland having a black cat cross your path is a sign of GOOD luck. Single women in Japan who own black cats are said to attract more suitors; and in parts of the U.K., a black cat is the ideal wedding gift.

Black Cats Matter.
Because there are more “cats of color” than any other
– with one all-black purebred breed: the Bombay.

Hey, this cat looks just like me! – Ramses

Because of superstitious ignorance, black cats are the least-adoptable among their shelter-mates; and because they are the target of cruel and sometimes fatal attacks during Halloween, shelters will no longer adopt them out during the month of October.

Why you should adopt a Black Cat.

  • We tend to be healthier than cats of other colors. Researchers at the National Institutes of Health discovered that the genetic mutations that cause cats to have black coats may offer them some protection from diseases.
  • If you wear a lot of black (Like SHE does.) you don’t have to worry about cat hair on your clothes.
  • Like the proverbial little black dress, we go with EVERYTHING – and holding us will make you look slimmer.
  • We are RARE (the black color of our coats is associated with the X chromosome, which often skips a generation).
  • Having a black cat is like living with a miniature-size panther.

Black cats were created to give everyone
the opportunity to be owned by a mini-panther.
