Local boys, The Quart of Blood Technique, ripped-up the place last night – their 2nd time @ Rockbar! QoBT’s sound is a combination of thrash metal and punk laced together with smooth grooves. I love these guys.
Michael Angelo Batio – a superb musician, but who knew he had a razor-sharp wit! Normally, I detest too much talk between songs, but Batio kept me (and the rest of the audience) entertained throughout his set!

North Bay’s The Quart of Blood Technique is opening for Michael Angelo Batio this Sunday, August 23rd, @ Rockbar. This is their 2nd show at this venue and you don’t want to miss them!

I saw Batio when he was in Nitro at The Stone (SF).
Cool enough when he plays a double-neck guitar,
but super bad-ass when he’s shredding on a 4-neck!!!

What a fun (and informative) time I had @ the King of the Sticks competition this past Monday! I was a Guest Judge for this month’s competition – alongside Mark Holt (President/Founder, USBG Silicon Valley Chapter) and John Tran.
