Weaving a Tapestry of Magick, Creativity, and Rebellion

We rebel not as a last act of desperation
but as a first act of creation.

Although the New Moon occurred yesterday, it’s not too late to set your Intentions for the next 14 days…

Aaah, my favorite Lord appears once again to inspire me. The Lord of Grails (King of Cups) is an enchanter, sorcerer, and Shapeshifter. A master in the art of Witchcraft, he shapes reality to his own image, transforming and absorbing any energy at will without doing harm to himself. The Lord of Grails steals the vitality of his enemies and uses them as his own. On an abstract level, the Lord of Grails represents esoteric matters, the healing arts, philosophy, and creative expression.

What a Drama Queen the 10 of Knives (Swords) is! We clearly see that the knife has not mortally wounded her, as it’s buried in her solar plexis. For this Vampyress, though, all the World’s a stage as she undergoes a transformation or metamorphosis of some kind – symbolized by the Death’s Head hawk moth – regarding the Manifestation of a thought or idea.

The last time the Lord of Grails appeared with the 10 of Knives was May of 2023.

The third card, the 4 of Skulls (Pentacles) is called the Lord of Material Power. However, what I see here tells a different story… This Vampyress is the rich, spoiled daughter of a mighty lord whose nature is so rebellious her father has hired a Warrior Vampyre to police her. Will the fearsome soldier be able to resist her charms or will she spin a spell of enchantment? My money’s on the daughter…

For two years I’ve chosen a WORD (instead of a resolution) to inspire and incite me throughout the year. For 2022 it was Magick and last year’s was Fierce. If you haven’t already guessed, 2024 will be the Year of the REBEL. Defiant. Obstinant. Contrary. Willful. Which will extend to anything and everything (nature, animals, spirituality, Ramses).
